Fire Engine Horn & On-Board Air
I like train horns and all but the tone of the fire engine horns just seems to rattle you to your bones. It is also the universal tone for "get the hell out of my way" on the road. It has saved my bacon a few times (I have the same system on my Suburban). I have even stopped traffic for emergency vehicles at intersections when oblivians have their head shoved up their ass and not paying attention. Works pretty good on the bastards who love to hang out in the fast lane for no damn reason too... I have been known to scare the shit out of a few mascots dancing on the side of the road too...
I think I made a dancing El Pollo Loco chicken crap an egg once.
I know it is wrong... but it is just too much fun!

Tied into my regular horn. I have a switch to cuts the feed to the relay to disable the solenoid so you hear just the stock horn. When the alarm goes off... the horn goes with it!
I have a pressure switch to shut it off at 97 psi. I also have a switch to manually turn off the compressor via the relay. See that grey box with the two relays on the firewall and on the back of the battery? That box contains the pressure switch, one relay for the horn, one for the compressor. The compressor is mounted in front of the battery and if you look in the lower right corner, you can see the manifold with the air hose chuck.

I was responding to a medical call several years ago, We had to cross a small dam/spill way to get there. As we crossed over I hit the airhorn a couple of time incase any traffic was coming and scared a fisherman fishing from the bank so bad he went into the water. Damn near crashed the rescue truck
