flag mount
After a few near misses when playing in the sand dunes in Dubai, I though it was about time I got myself a flag, however with not many offroad shops here I had to settle for a quadbike mast and flag, however the mount was a large, unsightly lump, and it would mean drilling the JK to mount it. However I managed to make a mount using a short length (off cut) of curtain rail tubing from Ikea, and two metal "J" brackets from ACE. The completed mount was attached to the screws that hold the 3rd brake light cover in place. The large yamaha mount and little orange pendant flag were assisned to the bin, and a more "appropriate" flag was purchased..........The mast simply slides into the tube, and stays put for the duration of the off roading.

Will let the pictures do the rest of the talking............

Since creating the mount, I bought a mount to attach the hi lift to the back door, (currently in the process of tweaking this also) it only dawned on me when I was taking the photo, I could also, slide the mast into the hi lift jack handle ....... oh well.
