I'm going to do the same, but with a hole to reach the hood lock. Will post when I get the materials and get it installed.

Well, all of my zip tie blocks were coming lose due to what was likely poor surface prep from me, so I pulled them off today after washing the Jeep. I will try this again in a few weeks after buying some more blocks and putting some kind of epoxy on the back.

Well, after having the materials for over a month, I finally had a spare hour to mod my grill. I ended up using Elmer's Ultimate Glue (gorilla glue wannabee) on the mounting bases like a weld. Hopefully, this will help strengthen them a bit.

Anyway, it looks niiiiiiiiice.

I think most of my mounts have come off too in this heat we have had. I will have to remount with some sort of glue soon.

That is why i did it from the start...
For attatching i used some small adhesive squares that are designed to have zip ties through them. I mounted them, 2 or 3, in between the slots of the grill and then i spread epoxy over the edges onto the stock grill. and then i used the zip ties to hold the mesh on.
