Hmm, just a quick question on this mod. Is there a DIY on it in this thread or another, where it shows how to take off the grille and where to zip tie down the gutter guard? Sorry, just don't want to mess with it and jack something up. Thanks!

Default Finally did it!

Weather's been finally nice to do things like this and finally did the bedlined grill mod and Grill mesh mod.

I really like how it turned out.

I dont know much about bedlining, however I'd love to do it to the grill... Is this something that I can do, or does it need to be done at a shop somewhere? Any suggestions?

Do a search for it. There are a couple of write ups on dulpicolor done grills as well as color-matched line-x'd grills. They make it look pretty easy. . .

my favorite. . .

I used a spray can of Duplicolor bedliner. I actually ended up one and a half can. It's a lot cheaper than Line X.

I bought the mesh for $20 at a truck accessory story and bought the rest of the supplies( wire ties, paint and tape) at home cheapo.

One side I painted black, the other I left unpainted.

As a result of trying them both, I perfered the unpainted side

Cheap mod =

the black side didnt stand out much and no one would notice much if they werent told to look so that is why i choose this side(the non painted)
What does everyone think about it? silver or black
