heated seats in a 09 ruby waterproof?

Hey everybody! First thread posted. I was wondering if anyone knows if the stocked heated seats in a 09 ruby is waterproof or will it crap out if it gets wet?

Don't know, but a lot of people make waterproof seat covers that should protect them if not (I use Wet Okole and love them, but there are a lot of others out there and a lot of people here use many different ones)
