I added a piece of washer fluid line to my stock line so I could wrap it around the upper rad hose to heat the washer fluid. I believe it was a 6' piece of hose and 2 connectors.
Here's some pics of the final result.
It seems to work alot better with the warmer fluid. Cost less than 10$. I don't remember the hose id but they had 3 sizes and I believe I used the middle one.

 

Looks nice! I've read about this mod but yours are the first pics I've seen of it. Where did you get the little white plastic connector pieces?

 

COOL! Haven't seen that trick in years! (Did that in 1990 on my mustang and thought I was the shyzer ... until I melted my cowl LOL) Way cheaper than an inline "Hot Shot" heater.

 

There vacuum fittings. There the same on both ends like u see in the pic. U just need fittings that fit ur hose size and the size of the new hose. They have adaptor sizes too of say u wanted to splice in a larger size hose.

Btw the fluid doesn't get scalding hot. It warms it enough to.make it work better. I highly doubt anything will melt if anyone is worried. The spray pattern hits a lil more of the windshield also.

Nope. Not at all. Reason being alot of European cars have been doin this for a long time. I drive an excalade occasionly at work and it has heated fluid too.
It doesn't get hot enough to crack the glass. The other day I used it after Jeep was warmed up to remove ice on glass.

haha thats too funny and so true!! the mod should take less than 20 min.. prob like 5 min.
just remember u will need to re-route the stock line.
