So, today I got some cheap rope and some rubber tubing at the hardware store to try making some home made grab handles. I ended up making 2 different sets - 1 set with the tubing and one set with just rope. Here are some pictures of what I made. I'll get some shots of both sets in the Jeep tomorrow but just wanted to know what you all thought... lame or decent?





And, they do look a little better in person than the pictures show...

 

I think they both look great. It will come down to which looks better to you. The exposed rubber or the roping.
