Default Homemade license plate relocation

Well, i broke my stock bracket, and didn't want to spend the money to buy a new one so here is what i did with stuff i had laying around.

I wanted to make sure it didn't make changing a tire any harder so i started with an old lug nut welded a piece of pipe to it and then a nut to the other side of the pipe,I cut a piece of sheet metal down to fit my license plate on, and welded a bolt to the back of the plate.in order to keep my license plate level when it is mounted i added a jam nut to hold it in place.

i pulled some info from another thread for the lighting and just cut my stock light out glued the top on it and wired it to my new bracket.

not much of a write up but atleast you can see what i did.

Lug nut with pipe and nut welded

Plate with bolt weled to it (i also drilled the holes on the top to mount my light.

Lug nut tightened on spare

then plate added to it

here you can kinda see the jam nut to make sure the license plate is level

then a couple of pics after it is done

I ordered the plug for the old bracket but it is on back order so i just cut a piece out of the old bracket to put there untill my new one comes in.

I just threw this together thursday night, and didn't think about the basement builders fair for this because i don't have any more made up yet.I'm going to try to make up a couple more over the next week or two.I have a idea or two to improve on it and just need to check on materials and such.
