As you all know most people pay $0 for their mods and do stuff home made like grill and rear lock boxes. Jet wondering what you people did to your jeeps to make them in your own way

 

I've done three mods I'd consider home made... one sorta isn't a mod and the dealer laughed at me when I told him I would do my first mod before I even left his parking lot.

1. Flip the rear view mirror upside down, gives a better driving view... especially if you sit tall. (Free)
2. Magnetic side view mirror for top & door off occasions. (~$12)
3. Front Grill undercoat paint (~$10)

The magnetic mirror was really easy, I bought a mirror at autozone for about $6 if I remember right, then since my superglue was bad I had to buy a new tube of glue and some magnets from home depot. I then removed the 3M sticky crap from the mirror since I didn't want to permanently affix my mirror, and proceeded to super glued the magnets to the mirror in stead of the 3M sticky pad and placed a piece of fabric between the mirror and Jeep body so as to keep the magnets from causing any small scratches.

 

There is a thread on this already. not sure which section though to be honest. its like "best mods for under $100" do a search, alot of good info
