These are awesome! Is it normal for hoods to start flapping worse over time? Mine seems worse this spring, so I've been thinking about getting some new latches. But this is definitely the way to go.

thats great. I actually saw similar pins while getting my parts, but they were only 1/4 inch and my plans were already set for 5/16ths. what size are those? but it looks good and adds a bit of security. How are they holding up in the cold?

So I did this mod over a year ago and still works perfect but I added some push release pins. I bought them from Jegs for $15 a piece and so much easier than the clips.

after seeing my hood do a slam instead of a flap I'm doing this mod. my wife was in the car when it slammed and said i though u said it was flapping not slamming
