not realy,, i dont think this one is a knock off ,,mopar also sells the aev with a diferent badge "wrangler"

hello guys, just wondering... Hunty or anyone else.... does anyone have the template to drill the hole on the hood? i bougth an used snorkel ( im low on cash :( , dunno if its a knock off either... just says JK Wrangler on the side ) but i dont have the template :( can anyone help? thx

Did you do anything different to fit the rugged ridge light bar ? Did you move it out a inch or 2 to clear the bar ?. I did not like the rugged ridge snorkel idea but this looks good to me. It looks like you did not force a fit around the light bar. It looks natural. Very nice job. This is on my list now as I have the AEV heat reduction hood so no cutting.

I just used a heap of washers to space the snorkel away from the light bar - it was quite easy and I didnt have to force it at all - cheers hunty

If I need to make spacers, 1/2" or 3/4" black pipe cut into spacers works perfectly. Just make sure the ends are sanded and cleaned up as to not cut the crap out of your paint. You'd be amazed at how many spacers you can make out of a 2' section of black pipe.
