Brilliant and cheap... awesome combo! I think i like the painted look the best though.

very nice mod! wonder if it would be possible to paint the caps before installation maybe wrapping some type of film around them while hammering them in would work?

The caps I got for my steel wheels, similar to the wheels you pictured, were only $6 from 4wheelparts. They site behind the wheel and have a tiny lip that holds them in place like the pinch seam on the cans.

I do like the use of sterno though.
