Another thing that works (worked for me at least 3 times taking off my front grill) is to use a philips screwdriver, let the end just rest in the X, and twist counter clockwise without pressing down -- press only enough to keep the screwdriver from slipping. The screw will just begin to come up enough to pull it out.

I did all of mine on sunday, and i found it pretty easy to stick a flat head screwdriver on the oposite side of the phillips screw head, and press up/out as i unscrewed the otherside. they all came off real easy except for the two that are on the top near the grill. You cant get to the back side. Since i was installing my new bumper, i decided not to worry as i would not be replacing them anyway. I ended up just drilling out the middle and pulling up on the panel. they slid right out.

are the ones at lowes for 29 cents the same as the 5.00 mopar ones??

Whether I'm working on one of my Jeeps or one of the kids cars, I can always count on napa to either have them or order them next day. I get a box of 20 for just a few dollars.

And if they're not, they will probaly void your warranty... those assholes
