Default Installing a Maggiolina Roof Top Tent on a JKU with a Gobi Stealth Rack.

Probably not too many people will need this, but a write-up I did on installing a Maggiolina RTT on a Gobi Ranger on a JKU.
EDIT - Change 'Stealth' to 'Ranger'

Yeah, I think I'm 7'8" or so now, and that's with no lift. I'm lucky my garage is pretty tall. I have a small vacation place on the east coast that it will never fit in the garage for again.

Glad to be of service. I did it to help Jeepers out here because when I was looking around about it, I couldn't find anything at all anywhere.

I gotta say that the vBulletin system that JK-Forum uses for managing the message boards and galleries makes it pretty much near impossible to upload an album like this. I had to work on it for 2 days (3 times as long as it took to install the actual tent). Pictures wouldn't upload, couldn't delete them, couldn't re-arrange them or sort them, I must have uploaded them 10 different times. Then I spent 2 hours typing in descriptions under each picture and when I got to the end and said "save changes" it went to a black screen asking me to log in, even though I was already logged in. It lost EVERYTHING I had typed. After throwing things across the room, thankfully not my laptop, I sat down and did it again, saving changes every 4 or 5 pictures. I will probably never post another photo album here.

So what I am saying is THANK YOU for saying THANK YOU! It makes it all worthwhile.

Wow, that's dedication. I'm not sure I would have persisted through all of those obstacles but I'm glad you did.

Maybe the forum owners will take note, or maybe it's just the characteristics of the service/applications they're using & there's nothing they can do, either.

So, really, Thanks!

Hey, I love this website. This is just one component of it, and whether they like it or not (admin that is), I can't imagine the headache of moving 60,000 users (is that right?) to a new platform. Probably close to impossible. Especially if the money isn't there to justify it.
