iPhone mount for daystar dash
Ok. like many, I had trouble with my phone sliding away.
So I bought this rugged cover by Speck @ the Apple Store.
It grips well, and kept it from sliding, but then I got creative.
I took the rotating belt clip that came with the rubber cover, and screwed it to the back wall of the Daystar dash unit.
I used #6 screws with black snapping screw covers.
Now I can drive without worrying about the phone flying out my open doors....

OR I CAN FLIP IT TO WATCH A MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!

btw, movies sound great through the Infinity System!
(good thing too, because my movie screen is tiny. LOL)

[QUOTE=BlueAlgernon;731510]Just don't leave it in there when you leave the Jeep. Lots of smash-n-grabs due to scum bags stealing GPS and Ipod and phones left in sight.
As my top and doors almost always stay off, I don't leave much of anything in there. ...and my iPhone and gun definitely leave the jeep with me everytime. Good advice though. Jeeps are easy to crack into.
