Default IPOD mount using CB mic bracket

Well I installed my Cobra75 CB back in '07 shortly after I got my JK Rubi and used the Cooltech Versamount to mount the handset and it's worked great since I installed it. With the CB mic bracket already in place I thought I'd use it to mount my IPOD Nano when the CB is not in use. I'm sure this has been done before but here's my version of an IPod mount using the CB mic bracket ...

I started with a Bracketron IPM-202BL Docking Cradle Mount from Amazon.com ($8) and a Firestick RMB-1 Replacement mic button from Walcott CB ($5) and mounted the button on the back of the Bracketron.

Mounted on the mic bracket ...

With the IPOD It's a nice solid bracket and the IPod does not move around at all. That's it

And yes... those are Star Wars tunes loaded to keep the boys in the back seat happy

Nothing wrong with a little Star Wars soundtrack in the background.

Check the Cooltech website. They make the mic bracket and I'm pretty sure it came with instructions how to do that.
