I take them off completely. The JKS ones I purchased have removable pins top and bottom and then just slide them off!

I know about taking them completely off, I plan to wrap them in a old hand towel, if I can get one out of the house.
I was asking about the bar itself.
Also your first picture, do you have a close up of the pin that the JKS slide onto. Looking for how close it is to the tire.
Thanks

Oh ok that make sense. How about a picture, and maybe where you got your bungie from.
Thanks

I use these as well and they are great. Easy to put on and take off. And stay in the rig. The "quick" version just disco and swing the swaybar up where the discos connect to pins tapped into the frame. No keeping track of pins or discos rattling in the back. Not sure which I prefer.

Keep em greased. It's always wet up here and I have to tug a bit.

I use a heavy rubber bungie to keep the swaybar pins away from the tire. Though with 35s at full flex and turn I've rubbed the wheels against the pins a few times.

Great pictures, Thanks

It looks to have a pretty good amount of clearance from tire to the pin on the sway bar. From your pictures I don't see how people say that the pin hit the tire. Do you think that's possible?

Do you do any thing with the sway bar when disconnected?

Pm'ed you with a question about your Front Axel.

I bungee the sway at to the frame, i put each of the disconnects into an old sock, keeps the grease from getting on anything and they won't fall out.
