what wires are you splicing in to get the DRLS to be the LEDS?

 

Here's a daytime shot, they actually look brighter in person.

I ran a fresh ignition on power supply and needed to run the earth back to the battery as you can get funny things happening if you earth to the body etc. Such as flashing in time with your indicators. To turn the lights off when my headlights are on ( local requirement) a headlight ground wire was tapped into and wired to the ground side of the LEDs this neutralised the voltage across the LEDs and turns them off- cunning trick.
