Default License Plate delete DYI

Ok I have ordered the license plate delete two weeks ago. 4wheelparts is slower than if I walked across six states to get this piece of plastic for 20 bucks. Needless to say I have got impatient and decided to try something.
Here goes

First I took blue tape put it around the hole and marked it with a pen. The outline and then where the holes were.Click image for larger version

Then I took the blue tape template and placed it on the old license plate holder.

Heated the plastic up and cut around my markings and drilled the holes
Then screwed it on the jeep , not a penny spent and now instead of the hole I have this until my part comes in.

That's cool, but how about a picture of how you mounted the plate please. I'm curious about this DIY.

I bought a mounting bracket from 4wheelparts. It came with the bracket and the license plate light. Its a simple install and instructions came with the bracket. Click image for larger version
