Thumbs up M.O.R.E. JK Dead Pedal Installation Write-Up

If you’ve been a manual transmission driver most of your life and now that you have an automatic, don’t know what to do with your left foot, or, if you’re just looking for a more comfortable way to rest your foot and help brace yourself on technical descents, Mountain Off Road Enterprises has got the answer for you - a Dead Pedal.

The M.O.R.E. Dead Pedal is a nice little mod for any Jeep JK Wrangler with an automatic transmission. It installs in minutes and requires little more than a couple basic hand tools.

for whatever it's worth, i used to do that a long time ago with my old tj write-ups but then, as time went on, prices would go up and people would get pissy at the manufacturers/vendors and even me for providing false information. but, maybe i can make some kind of caveat that the price listed was at the time of installation and that it might be different now.

I picked up one of these at the Pomona off-road show from the M.O.R.E. booth back in the fall. It was a very easy install and does give my left foot a nice place to rest.

I can't remember exactly, but it seems like it was in the $40 range?

Actually found this from a while ago, WOL gave the price at $39.99.

I have had one of these installed since shortly after they became available, i love it, the Jeep should have come with it.

I really appreciate this write-up! I've missed having a dead pedal since I bought this Jeep and have considered ordering one. After seeing this write-up I ordered mine today.

M.O.R.E has a 20% off Christmas special going on right now which makes the pedal $31.99 plus shipping.
Thanks.

I've got this on my '09 X as well. Bought it through M.O.R.E. s website before Thanksgiving. Very quick & easy to install. I also think it should have been factory...

Default Just got mine installed :)

I drove from Virginia to Georgia over the holidays (yes, through the infamous blizzard) and wished I had installed this earlier. It is very simple to install and really makes a difference. I have attached some picts just to compliment what WOL posted on his write up. Enjoy.

This is what you get in the box from M.O.R.E
