So after the little one arrived and I started putting him in his carseat I noticed that it was hard to keep an eye on him since he is kept in the rear facing position.

The problem with the mirrors that you can get for this purpose is that if you mount the mirror on the back of the seat it often falls into the cargo area or onto the little one.

I added some velcro to the mirror.



Then the reverse to the roof


And just attach to the roof velcro


I didn't do a before picture but now there is a more unobstructed view through the rear view mirror.
