Before trying anything too fancy, try adding a couple of rubber washers between the mounting hardware and plastic case.

Default Fixed the bounce!

First, thanks for the kudo's on my light!

I fixed the bounce with one L bracket and a bolt (to include washer and lock nut).

Drill a hole through the L bracket and then slide it onto the rod, then bolt the flat part of the L bracket to the tire carrier.

* The hole you drilled to slide over the threaded rod needs to be the same size as the rod (so it can't move). This keeps everything from bouncing around and looking good!

I'll post a picture when I take one during the day light!

Ah, I thought you were indicating that the light was not staying put and rotating on its mount. Post an updated picture when you get a chance. Thanks again for the good idea.
