Since no one else responded to your question...
Personally, the welding is the part that I can't do, so if all the welding were taken care of I'd be fine to paint it myself, and add whatever else needed to be done.
By the way... what's your website? Are you a sponsor? Do you take paypal? What's the warranty? Do I get a shipping discount if I buy 12 of the them?
just had to give you hard time since everyone is asking so many questions

I don't think i'm aloud to sell them on here, not a sponsor, just a member that had an idea. Might have to wait until they have another "basement builders" thing. I don't want to break any rules, in the meantime i'll figure out what it would cost and weigh mine to see how much shipping would be ... and i'm still thinking of a wall mount, got an idea but need to dot the " i's " and cross the " t's ".
Thanks for the props.

I have been thinking about this post today...this is an extremely innovative way to store the doors. I would seriously contact one of the fab guys and sell your idea. Because you posted it here you should have some sort of protection from someone taking the idea. A company that is already making bumbers and rockers could easily add this to the offering. Great Job!

That is awesome!!
Looking at the picture with one door on it, it looks like it should tip??
What prevents that? Is the stand just really heavy?
Thanks & nice work!

Thanks lawsonj3, if some sponsor want to make these they can p.m. me.
I looked into getting a patent but it would cost about $5,000. If somebody wants to pay for the plans that would be great, or just give me a % from each one ... or just steal my idea and feel guilty for the rest of your life ... lol.
Wall mount plans are comming soon.

I came up with something similar a while back. Just never got around to making it, wife had a baby, so all plans have gone out the window!
I made my door pin mounts spaced out from the frame, but looking at yours, it looks like that is not necessary, although you mentioned some grinding was required. I also made my legs fold up so I could take it with me in the event I drive a distance and then wanna go door-less at the trail.
