Default My Go At front Grab Handles

I have taking the advice from many members on here to use kayak handles for the rear passengers handles using the bolt holes in the sound bar, and here recently my girlfriend has been complaining about not having them up front now that the lift is on. So here is my cheap solution.

COST: 1 pair of kayak handles from Dick's sporting goods $11.00
2 nylon shoulder straps (2" wide) from wal-mart camping isle

PROCESS: simple, if the kayak handles are looped and sewn like mine were, cut the thread and extend the handle, then cut 2 strips of the nylon to the length you need to fit around the roll bar and sew the handle to both nylon straps in the same location. THAT'S IT! repeat on both sides and now you have matching handles on front and back.

Nice work, have ya pulled on them yet, to see if the velcro will keep the handle open? to explain a little further. if you pull on the handle does it stay in place, or does the velcro strap move towards the middle? Just curious.

I need to take a picture from inside the jeep, but there isn't actually any velcro. There are 2" thick heavy duty nylon straps that are pulled tight through a nonslip (thread over and under ring). I have pulled them tight and they seem to not budge at all, keeping in mind i have side steps which keep me from throwing all my 190lbs directly on them, but like I said I haven't had any sliding issue yet (1 week strong)
