Default Padded Armrests

While sitting in the JK the other day I noticed the shoulder belt pad looked like it would fit the armrest on the front doors. And yes they do, so I when to Walmart and purchased two black ones (they match my interior best). It does help for padding the hard plastic. They cost about $5 each and are washable if they get dirty. Sorry no pics.

I would definately do this but I have my seat all the way up and tend to use the window sill as my arm rest. At first it sucked but I have become accustomed to it. It is comfortable enough but wish it was about half an inch wider. But warmer weather is comming and its getting wider when the windows are down.......But think to yourself why should these windows be down??????? The doors should be off.

That's a great idea!

Now, how about something for the top of the center console armrest? I've seen aftermarket products but would love to come up with a home-brew solution.

I saw somewhere on here someone use a boat bumper similar to this one. http: //www .cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp;jsessionid=ZKKOT1ZLCS1T1LAQBBJSCO3MCAEFII WE?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=null-cat602017_TGP&id=0029594015193a&navCount=0&podId=0 029594&parentId=cat602017&masterpathid=&navAction= push&catalogCode=IK&rid=&parentType=index&indexId= cat601233&cmCat=netcon&cm_ven=netcon&cm_cat=Google &cm_pla=boat%20bumpers&cm_ite=netcon&rid=018010107 0502&hasJS=true&_requestid=41597

Page 11 of the thread below has a pic of the boat fender in use. If you ask me it looks pretty good and you can't beat it for the price.

I like it!! I just drove to alabama the other day and my arms were both hurting, I would like a pad for both sides lol.
