I wanted to bed line the JEEP emblem on the grill. So I bought a new one fron the dealer for about $30. Just peel off the top sticker and scuff the letters so the paint will hold. I used dupli-color bed liner, I love the stuff for anything! Then put the top sticker back on and peel off the bottom sticker so you can stick it on the grill. I got off the old emblem with floss, fingernails , and solvent. I used masking tape to line up the new emblem.

 

Looks sharp. Nice work. I took the letters off of my grille but probably would have left them on if they were grey like that. Chrome isn't for me.

 

Gotta love it when someone is thinking outside the box. Took mine off too but mostly because it was repettitive having the hood bra with it's big ole Jeep logo right above the grill emblem. Ya know, I'm pretty good with masking tape, maybe I should go get a can of that dupli-color stuff.
