Default Painting Rims

I've painted my Rubicon Rims black with Dupli-color truck bed liner. I like the textered look. My question is do I clear coat over it? and if so, how many coats?

I think I'll leave them as is with no clear coat. I'll get some pics today.

There are some good write-ups on this. Basically clean, sand, clean, prime and then spray on liner. Challenge was getting some bubbles. Over all I really like the look. Time for some new rubber!

Went back and did one more coat for a total of 3 and found out the bubbles were caused by my finger pushing the button on the spray can. All blemishes are gone and they look great! We'll see how there last.

do y'all know the best way for touching up the rims? I've had mine done for a couple months in a matte black finish and they're starting to fade a Tad bit.
