Paracord / 550 cord Solid grab handle
I have seen a bunch of write ups for these on other sites, but not on this one. So I thought I would throw a quick one up here. This isn't going to be a great one, but it is a little unique. I'll tell you the con's of the way I did it as I go along.
You need, paracord, (about 100ft for 2 handles), a small bolt with the head cut off, Scissors and a lighter
Cut 2 pieces about 40" long, melt into a loop, or tie a knot like I did and melt. Double it over

Cut a piece about 55" long, melt into a loop, and triple it up.

(I added this part)
Take small bolt,

Insert into 550 cord that has the guts removed

and make a loop about the same size as your tripled up main section.

Put this in with the tripled up main grab section, try to have the bolt centered in the handle.
After this (I don't have a lot of pictures of the rest, but there are a million write ups elsewhere) start the cobra weave on the main section. Here is a youtube video of how to do that.
These are approximate lengths, use about 65" of each color paracord, 130" total, melted together, and use this as your starting point of your cobra weave. Start on the main handle.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=aMid1dbf9G0 Next melt together 2 pieces of of 60" (120" Total) paracord of opposing color to do the roll bar portion. Repeat for other side of grab handle.
You need to use something to hold open a hole on the roll bar portion, so you can connect them. I use 550 cord to connect them, mostly because I can never get the measurements correct to use a D-Ring or anything like that. I have seen a bunch of people who use D-rings to connect. I just leave enough room for 500 cord, that I'll loop over to tie it together.
Here is my end result, you can see some of my knots that I used instead of melting them (I have had issues with them in the past just being melted together). You can also see what I put in the loop to hold it open, so that I have room for my connectors later.

Here you can see the solid portion I have in the handle to grab on to.
I know this write-up is lacking, but there are SO MANY of them out there, I figured just an overview would be ok. The only thing that makes mine that different is the bolt inside the 550 cord that makes the center solid. I hate how otherwise they bunch up your hand and knuckles.

Cons: These lengths are approximate, and you can't just slap a D-ring on there and have it work. Also I used melted knots which show a lot more, and aren't quite as "pretty" as melting them together.
Anyway, Cheers
and good luck, hit me up if you have any questions.
