yeah, these are the exacty places I got the stuff. Switch the "x"'s to a "t".
1" regular strap (feels like the strap from a book bag)
hxxp://www.drdcorp.com/strap-cord-hardware/strap.htm
2" metal O rings (I thought about getting the black ones)
hxxp://www.strapworks.com/Metal_O_Ring_p/mor.htm
1" black buckle
hxxp://www.strapworks.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SRBSA&Show=TechSpec s
Everything feels very sturdy/quality...even though its the cheapeast place I could find the stuff.
I would feel comfortable enough putting them on top of the jeep and laying on them like a hammock.
I don't know if I had to but I sewed every cross section like a square with an X in the middle. I'm not sure if that is proven to be the strongest method or what. Every section anyway, except for where the O-rings are. I couldn't turn the net with the O-ring in because of the foot on the sewing machine. In those area I just put like 8-9 rows of stiching, which should be plenty strong.

Nah, I didn't use all 100 yds. I'm not sure how much I used...I'd guess 50 yds. I was planning to do another net behind the front seats and one over the rear seats. But i'm fine with what I have for now. I think I got enough nylon for all the nets so maybe I used less than 50.

Yup, with all of the good suggestions from this thread, I have started mine also.
Got one side totally done and I am now fine tuning the rear most netting.
The point of using hot glue to hold everything together was genius
By doing that you can test fit/fine tune everything prior to sewing.
Now I just need to finish sewing the rear and the remaining side net.
My wife laughs at me sitting at her sewing machine working away.

I used staples... Fast to apply, fast to remove, holds everything in place as you work.
