Hello all, I bought a used 2010 jku with both tops, soft still in box. No door surrounds to be found in box so I ordered the rampage surrounds that said they can be used to go from hard top to soft. However, when I installed soft top, it seems to sit on top of the surrounds leaving large gap for wind and water to get in. Anyone have experience with these surrounds or have any ideas for a fix?

 

You have to make sure the door surrounds are for the 2007-2010 JK. They changed the soft top design in 2011, so door surrounds for the later models will not work on a 2007-2010 model soft top.

 

I double checked and the surrounds say 2007-2014. I contacted the company and they said these surrounds may effect the use of the soft top on some models. Which to me that means they don't work for all those years as stated. I smell a fight when I try to return them. They are scratched where the soft top hinges sat on the door surrounds.
