Nice work, since mygig was somehow left off my order I am going to add a camera to either a pioneer or an alpine system. I may alter your idea and mount the camera in a center cap placed in the wheel.

Most hardware stores have it. Or any hobby store. Or www.mcmaster.com type in plastic- you can find anything here- This is where I get most of my hardware parts

can someone help me with a wiring question. I want to knwo where to tap power for this camera. Can a take power from the cig lighter to the DC cable going to the camera? do i need a fuse or converter?
If i want the camera on a switch how do i route the wires to the camrea/ power switch.

I managed to install my front and rear KC's to swtiches but they come nicely setup already.

thanks you anyone for your help

I installed a camera as well, but instead of doing it your way, I drilled a hole in the center cap. I do not see the rim in the way and has a clean look.
I will upload pics in a few days after I get my camera back from being fixed.

PM on the wiring and I was able to not see the rim anymore because I adjusted the adjusting screw ring all the way to the end and the rim didn't show anymore.
