My '08 Sahara Unlimited factory installed.

 

Of course, My 09 X has the factory installed tie downs, but I had to cut out slots on my rough country rear cargo mat to allow the forward ones to peek through. Just FYI.

I like your solution. I have thought of adding a d ring near the sub whoofer. I have seen other comments questioning the strenth of the factory hold downs. Does anyone have an opinion whether the factory d rings are adequate to secure ice chests or other heavy items?
