Default Removing wax from fenders suggestion

I dont know if this has been posted before but anyways. The easiest way i have found to remove wax residue from your factory black fenders is to:

-Drive your jeep down to the carwash(where they have the bays for hand washing with the power nozzle and foaming brushes) *Not the automated drive through.*
-Put your money in($1.25 for me)
-Turn the selector knob to rinse/spray
-And just spray the fender where the wax is(might have to get the nozzle real close)

This works excellent, its cheap, and all the wax spots are now gone from my fender.

An eraser works good too if you have one lying around.

Try a Q-Tip...........Well, that's how I get the wax out of my ears!

Some have said a soft bristle brush and some simple green works.

There is a wax out there called "ICE "it dries clear and works great on the fenders and side steps. It is not tacky but goes on really easy. I think I found it at Cosco.

You could always put a strip of masking tape down at the fender junction prior to waxing (which I will probabaly do). No matter how much we pressure my wife's VW, the wax doesn't come out of the bottom door trim.

A soft bristeled tootbrush works really well too. I always keep a few extras around anyway, they're great for cleaning small parts as well.

How's that ICE compare to back to black? I have yet to try either although I just picked up some back to black.

On Black Fender Flares, and Hard Tops, I have used Black Shoe Polish for the last 5 years and they always look new. It's cheap and with great results.
