Riddler Diff Cover Painting
I had read a few posts on people painting the R's on the Riddler covers. Quite a few had the artistic skill to paint with touch up paint brushes. Well, I'm not that great with a paint brush. I came up with a solution which is quick, simple and, if careful, will require NO touch ups.
The meat...
I used a foam paint brush ($0.40) and some spray paint. The foam brush because of its flat surface area. It works well with the raised "R" on the cover. I used spray paint because, well, it was all I could find.
I sprayed the paint into a corner of a roller paint tray and dipped the foam brush. Then carefully brushed it on the raised area. You simply apply slight pressure while you brush and keep the flat surface area parallel to the painting surface. Each "R" took about 2 min and did not need any touch up with the black paint.
Simple solution. I wasn't going to paint the "R" until I realized how easy it would be with a flat sponge-type applicator.
