Rigid Dually D2 and A-pillar mounts
So my wife is bad a$$ and got me the Rigid D2 driving lights an Poison Spyder A-pillar mounts for v-day.
So, here are some pic and some details
First I wanted to get the wires ran through the firewall and the switch mounted.
Under the hood, about 2 inches in and 2inches down on the firewall you can see a plug that (I think) the rear window pisser line runs. It pulls out easy to give ya some room. Just poke a slit into it with your pocket knife.

Once you get majority of the covered wire and switch end into the cab, insert the plug back into the hole. If you lay on the floor, look up where the clutch pedal come in.... If you don't have a clutch, you might be lost at this point. Haha. You can gather the wire there.
Next, pop off the side dash panel and feed the wire out.

I decided to mount the switch here.

I used a 7/8 step bit and took it down to the second to last step. It was just a hair over 3/4" and fit perfect after some light sanding and cleaning up.

Looks clean huh!???
So then I had to figure out the rest of the wiring. I used the existing wire channel on the firewall and ran the pos and neg hook ups over to the battery.

Next I mounted the Poison Spyder brackets... This is simple stupid. Then mounted the lights to them... This is also simple stupid. To make things easy and give me some room I pointed them straight up

After that, unscrew the star bits on the good cowl right here. (Removing the plastic cover over the wipers gives just enough room for the next step)

Don't lose these.... It's about a buck eighty if ya do. Pull up the cowl and run the wire to the light plug.

Tuck it all in! There is just enough room in the corner for the thickness of the wire.

Repeat for the other side, hook the positive to positive, negative to negative and your good to go!! All ya gotta do now is aim em right!

Idaho law says that the beam should not break the height of the center of the light at 25 feet and should be no higher than 42 inches at 75feet. Other states are probably similar.
I hope this is handy for y'all. I love the lights, the are blinding!!

I have the exact setup as the OP. There is no relay necessary for this application using the Rigid fixtures and harness. If you have another manufacturer, it might require more components. The fastest way to answer your question is probably to Google your lights and DL a wiring diagram.
