RR XHD Bumper + MBRP Light Bar
So I always liked how the MBRP light bar looked on my stock bumper and I didn't want to pay for another one and of course wanted to replace the stock bumper with a steel one. I liked the RR just because it gives you the option of going full length or stubby.
So anyway I went ahead and purchased the RR bumper thinking that I could fit the MBRP light in it, and I did !!!
All I need now is a winch to go with it.
Here is my quick write-up, let me know what you think.
1. Get rid of the stock bumper by removing the 8 bolts attaching it to the frame(boiler plate instructions)

2. When removing the fog lights and the installing them back just take not that the bump in the plastic casing goes upward.

3. Then I removed the MBRP light bar from the frame, at this point I thought I could install everything without disconnecting the lights (I was wrong so the easiest solution was to ID and cut the wires). This picture is with the wires still intact.

4. Then I measured exactly where the retaining bolts on the light bar would be in the bumper. I measured the length from bolt to bolt at the base of the light bar then marked the exact length on the bumper and drilled a 1/2" hole on each side of the bumper where I wanted the bar to sit.

5. I decided I didn't want to drill another hole on the bumper so I filed the edge of the light bar so could run the cable (had to do this because the light bar seats flat on the bumper once installed).

6. Now I bolted the light bar to the bumper using the light bar's 1/2" bolts trough the 1/2' holes I just made in the bumper, here is how it looks just sitting on the frame.

7. The rest of the installation is done just following the instructions in the RR manual, install all the bolts through the D rigs, etc...Remember to install the fog lights with the plastic bumps upward.

Here are some pics from different angles...

And of course one last poser pic...
