The SuperChips flashpaq gives you the ability to lock your lockers in 4-hi. I haven't messed with it yet, but I've seen the option on the flashpaq screens. I'll have to play with it this weekend and see how it works.

You ever felt the need to go around a really tight corner in 4lo and want the rear locker engadged/or not/ or off and on because the ground is those little morble rocks? Or unlock the rear and just lock the front push on the brakes and gas with the wheels turned to change your line in a tight spot? I think some call it a "dig". Pulling a boat up a wet or gravel boat ramp? just having the rear in 4hi is great for that. IMO, it is pointless to have selectable lockers if you can not tell them exactly when you want them on or not. : 2cents :

Yeah BLUE I was a little dissapointed that my selectable lockers couldn't be selected when ever I wanted.
really all I did it for was to run 2wd Locked and so in 4hi I can lock the back I only put the switch in for the front locker just because I was already doing one so why not do both.

and yes BTO it works in 2wd

Nice job. Allegedly the new Superchips programmer is supposed to allow for this mod via software, though last I heard it was still not functional.

thats pretty cool. REally like the idea of locking in 2wd.

Is there a way to selectably dis-able the traction and esp??

i have to agree with marine tech, those connectors are not the best.i install alarms on cars and i used to use those and i have had many of them go bad where they did not make a good connection so i had to take them off and solider them.being on a jeep where they are going to get most likely wet and dirty i would go with doing it once, and not twice.IMO

great write-up. I'll prob use the same clips but seal them in rtv/sealent when done.

I have an 07 so I can't just do the steering wheel dance. Dealer wants to charge me $150 to reflash the CPU. So I'm looking for another way to disable it, but I would like to keep my abs working. Is this possible??
