Default Rubicon Rocker Tubes

Hello all,
I added tubing to the stock Rubicon Rockers. It was simple, but took some time. Sorry I didn't take too many pics, but I pretty much removed the rockers, bent tubing, cut the ends at an angle, notched three peices of tubing on one side and cut the other side at an angle, tacked it up and welded it together. I painted them with spray paint.
Next, I want to fab up some rockers that I can weld to the frame.

And a bad night shot after a little mud. Hmm, wonder why the date is wrong on the last pic, need to read the camera manual, I just took the pic.

that looks fantastic, i want to do this so bad but I have no welder or even kmow how to weld.

Is mud and dirt getting splahed through the rails at all, or does it pretty much blocks it like the plastic side steps do?

excellent job by the way, would love to see a side shot of the mounted rails.

Great Job! They look fantastic. I was thinking about getting some river raiders, but I might have to do this instead!

I'm planning to do this very soon. My only concern is that where the rubi rail isn't strait it would look funny usless i put a bend in the tubing but it doesn't appear to be a problem. Good work! Any ideas on reinforcing it so that when you stand on it the body doesn't flex?

They are pretty solid, I can stand on them without them moving, but I plan to make a set that attaches to the frame very soon.

reddragons ... these look awesome ... had been considering shrockworks due mainly to the overall appearance ... but this makes me rethink that COST ...
you mention 1 3/4 tubing, what thickness was the tubing?
