Does the rear window come out or is it permanent?
It's sewn at the top which I wasn't sure about but I really like it because it rolls up and has straps to keep it up and out of the way. So quickly you can go from full top to bikini top.

Nice job, sm_rubi and Blonda! I found that the instructions in the box were pretty good, but there are definitely some good tips here that will make the install goes just that much more smoothly. Making sure the top is warm before trying to put it on and figuring out the correct orientation of the header bar clamps will save you grief. And knowing that that the ends of the bows need to go INTO the pockets and not just over them will definitely extend the life of your top.

Frank/Brenda, great job on the write up. If I understood it correctly the pre-2010 door surrounds do not need any modification to them. The top should clip right in correct?

Can the front of this be flipped back and secured like the sun rider top?

You got it right Tony the pre-2010 surrounds is the way to go to reduce the install time quite a bit!

I don't think it's possible to do that configuration but I'll discuss it with them as feedback. There is a couple of support poles that would prevent that, but, it may be possible without the poles?.

Mine's been on my Jeep since February or March, and it's held up great. No stretching or tearing. The windows seem like they're a lot less prone to scratching than the oem soft top windows.
