Rugged Ridge XHD rear rumper installation notes

Springfield, MO. They have a really nice JK with a hemi and do a lot of hemi swaps or kits to install the hemis. The upgrade is WAY out of my price range right now, but it is pretty amazing that they are able to wheel pretty hard on the D30/D44 combo with alloy shafts.

Nope... It's a built 30 and it is going into Sara's JK when he puts the 60 in his. I was dealing to put his 30 & 44 into mine when her stock 30 grenaded a few weeks ago.

He had that Hemi halfway in when I saw it last... I was trying to figure out how I was going to create a diversion and push that engine lift out the door that night..... and stick it in the back of my Jeep....

This bumper really fit quite well. Not only was the bumper cut perfectly for the rear hitch, but both of the sides match up with the fender flares and look like they came that way from the factory. I'm looking forward to getting the tire mount, but so far everything is better than I expected.

Good write up, but I would like to add 1 more thing. Do not tighten the 4 bolts holding the bumper onto the brackets until you have the other side lined up and started. Mine were about 1/2" off with 1 side tightened. I fought it for a while with a punch and screwdriver without much luck. I loosened one side and was able to get the other 4 started.
Great write-up and really nice bumper. It fits great with the stock fender flares.
