Default siping tires

What is everyone using to sip their tires? I want to consider sipping my xterrains as they really just suck in all the mud or snow and turn into slicks until I spin hard the tires.

1/4 deep cuts with a razor blaze or utility blade
u can buy a siping/ groove tool
but a utility blade works fine
1 per tire keeps the very sharp and easy to cut

You can do it by hand. I would not want to take that one on. Discount tire would be my suggestion or some place else that has a machine to do it with. By hand would be allot of work even with the proper tool.
