It's interesting that thereafter a lot of people who painted theirs silver. I painted my factory silver to Krylon Satin (flat) black for plastics. I wanted to black them out for the commando green blend. No I just need to pop the shifter handles to match.

I hadn't thought of blacking them out, that looks really good.

Knowing how everything i paint turns to crap i should have not even tried this. Looks like i am going to sand everything down again and try one more time. After that if it still looks like crap then ill be having a shop do it and just end up paying money.


Edit: Sanded it down all the way and had a better result but i still do no trust my painting skills and assume this will just peel off or chip in a couple of months. Im just going to have some painter do it for like $20-30 and look way better. Plus i think i would rather have the flat or matte black look to it.
