I did a quick search on LEDs for offroad use and found this site: www.roundeyes.com/LED_Lighting-Ultimate_Off_Road_LED_White.html

cool mod...
only 7 months till i retire, then i'm taking a trip somewhere..!!!

ahhh the things we can come up with, when we put our minds to it.

thanks

i wonder if one of those water rafts would fit in there as a mini air mat? the thicker looking ones, not the .99$ ones..? so the dog wouldnt puncture it, and make it a little cozier...

looks like fun...btw what are you planning on running with the small honda generator? Keep in mind that you have a small jeep generator already built in. There are some kits that you can run off the battery to make your engine like a generator.

On the LED's. i bought some from Target reall cheap like $4 for about 3 of them. you can by ones with on-off switches, or disposable. you could stick mount them anywhere. I also have a coleman exponent LED lantern that lasts about 12 hours on 4 AA recharable batteries. It is quite nice, from REI about $25 right now on sale.
