soft top cleaning
So I've gotten the top muddy before and it came clean but it took alot of elbow grease. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to get the mud stains out easier than lots of scrub time?
I've heard good things about Bestop's products. I use Aerospace 303 Cleaner and UV Protectant with a brush. Great stuff, safe for the soft top and stitching. Makes cleaning a breeze and is available at several auto parts stores.
Some guys use Spraynine and a brush as well.

some advice: as soon as mud gets on the soft top - especially in the sun... WASH IT. I let mine sit for a couple days and ran it through a standard wash - the spots of mud did not come off. I had to bring it to a place to get it all removed. The guy scrubbed it with a brush for a couple hours I guess and til this day I still see some spots of mud. I guess I need to get my hands on something very strong in case this happens again.
I just picked up some aerospace 303 and have a question. Im assuming you clean the soft top with car wash and brush to scrub and then follow up with the aerospace?? When applying the aerospace, do you apply and wipe off or buff or just lather it into the canvas and let it go?? Thanks!
