I am looking to buy or build some storage for the back of my JKU. I need something that will hold my tools and camping gear without falling all over the place when I'm off road. What have you done that you like? Please post pictures as well.
Thanks,
Josh

Thank you. I know Tuffy makes a good product. I like that there is still room for other things on top.

Unless you are running a trek top you could mount a cargo basket above this set up and maximize your storage space.

I just did a diy trunk enclosure similar to the tuffy enclosure. Removed my backseat, used cardboard for templates, bought 70 bucks worth of wood/bolts/nuts/brackets and spent 4 hours outside. Not 100 percent theft proof but definitely a deterrent. I followed some write-ups in this forum, wish I did it awhile ago.

Would you mind posting some pictures? I was thinking about doing the same thing as you.

That's a good idea. Do your tools rattle at all?

Not really. Most of them are in bags, except for larger stuff like the machete and shovel, but everything settles in pretty good as far as on road rattling. Disclaimer: I have howling mud terrain tires, no carpet, soft top, and a louder exhaust.
