Tinting soft top windows
Well I'm sick of driving with the hard top on cause my soft top windows aren't tinted and due to tools in the back I need them to be
So I'm gonna try this:
VHT night shade spray tint
First light coat is done and it may not end up looking like factory I can still see threw it enough to back up and to hide my tools and not look funny since the rest of my 4 door is tinted
I'll keep u guys updated
1hr to re-coat
3hrs to be dry to the touch
24hrs to fully cure
Thank god there's no rain tonite

Tried this about a year ago... I must not have done it that well cause it was a mess. I ended up buying some clear windows and velcroed (along the top, bottom, and side edges) replacement soft window screen. It's not the greatest thing ever, but I paid about 100.00 for everything and had enough leftover screen material to use with my old windows to make them into screen windows only for camping. I cut the plastic out and just used velcro and the screen material for those as well.
Good luck- but there really isn't an alternative...

Here in the next week I'm going to tent my soft top windows with regular tint. I have done tint in the past it's not that hard but I never done a soft top jeep. If it turns out good I may just have to do a right-up on it.
