Default Tip for Freedom Top

Ever have a problem with the rubber pads falling off from the header panel latch when removing the front panels?

Here is my quick fix - a small screw like this:

And the results:

No more falling off and getting lost.

The rubber ones fell off one side of my soft top. I just found it on the floor of my jeep and was like wtf is this? Think I tossed it on accident.

It looks like they improved the design a bit. I have a felt sticky patch on my top that has fallen off, moved around and now does not seal the front as well because it is now about half the width it used to be. The version pictured here looks much better.

im not sure what could replace this and still hold up under its use of latching & unlatching must be something rubber like or soft but still stay put . could be a mod thats needs dreaming up now who has a plan of action ..........band aid, rubber band glued on, another felt patch with sticky tar like glue . rubber grommet cut & silicone, and last but not least my duct tape
