Trans Cooler Hard Line Install
Sorry for the late answer. Yes, I use both coolers. It routes the factory cooler first, then the aux cooler, then back to the trans.

Cool, I got everything together and will start the carnage shortly. First time I've ever flared tubing but your install was very OEM looking. I figure if the dealer ever gives me a headache on the powertrain warranty they wont be able to fault the install as it's better than OEM with the inverted flare connectors. Thanks for the quick reply, it was a dumb question in hindsight and should have been more like "does the kit have the adapters?" but of course I knew that by looking on their website.

It's 3/8 steel line. Nothing exotic. No real special tools required, unless a flaring tool is special. Harbor freight has them under 20 bucks. Under 10 if they're runnin a sale. I got two female inverted flare 3/8" junctions, six 3/8" flare nuts and two sticks of 5' 3/8" steel line all for under 20 bucks. The 5' steel lines come with two extra 3/8" flare nuts, in case you need some extras. Also, mine required an extra quart of ATF-4. I chose a pretty large cooler. That's about it.
