Default Two Dollar Lower Dash Mod

Not sure if anyone's done this yet, but here ya go.

Today I bought a 4-pack of bungee ball stretch cords at Harbor Freight. It was the only way I could get small diameter black bungee cord. I'm saving two for my Daystar upper dash panel (when it arrives).

As for the other two, I removed the lower dash panel, stretched them around the panel, and voila! A nice little place to keep things like a phone, wallet, etc...

I got the idea after test driving a 2010 JK and seeing the elastic mesh they have on the lower panel.

The Parts

The "mod"

The finished product.

that looks like a pretty good idea, it should work a lot like the nets on the new jeeps.

Good idea! I keep my iPhone in that little mesh pocket, works well enough for that.

Let me know if you find one. I just didn't know where to begin looking. Maybe a hunting store? I'm going to Gander today. We'll see what I come up with.

try something like this, I had a Honda Pilot that came with it, and had something like it behind the front seats. Should have kept the net at least.
