windshield lights
I have come up with a cheap windshield light mounting idea. Here is what i used:
Bi-Folding Door Repair Kit (you may want to use 2 of them to make the lights stable). $3.26 each at Lowes Hardware in the door and window repair section.
Black spray paint.
First I took the brackets and cut one side with a chisel and hammer (thats all I had to work with at the house) close to the largest hole. I then painted them black. Next I mounted them to the windshield through the largest hole on the bracket, Attached the lights and connected the wires

Not to say that those aren't the epitome of Jeeping, but seriously, KC brackets don't cost $30. Eat out once less period and they are paid for.
Lights on the other hand, the differences between those are immense, so buy whatever you want.
